Delhi records coldest morning of this season, air quality remains in 'Poor' category

The national capital was shrouded in a layer of smog on Friday morning. Meanwhile, IMD has forecast mainly clear skies

Delhi on Friday recorded its coldest morning of this season with a minimum temperature of 9.6 degrees Celsius, three notches below the normal, according to India Meteorological Department. The air quality in the national capital continued to remain in the 'poor' category with the overall AQI at 283, as per the System of Air Quality and Weather Forecasting And Research (SAFAR).(ANI)

Delhi overall air quality continues to be in the 'poor' category. According to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), the Air Quality Index (AQI) at 9 am stood at 275.(ANI)

The maximum temperature is expected to settle at 26 degrees Celsius. The relative humidity at 8.30 am was 79 per cent, India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.(ANI)

Air quality in Delhi-NCR dipped into the 'poor' category on Thursday morning with an overall AQI at 249. New Delhi's air quality had improved on Wednesday to the "moderate" category.(ANI)
