The IMD on Sunday issued an 'orange' alert for Gujarat, saying the state was expected to receive "heavy to very heavy rainfall" on July 24.

Incessant rain battered several parts of Gujarat creating flood-like situations in the multiple cities of the state. The situation was severe in Junagadh as it received 219 mm of rainfall from 8 hours till 4 pm on Saturday. Nearly 3,000 people have been shifted to safer places in the district, officials said.(ANI)
