Incessant rains battered Bengaluru on Wednesday, flooding several areas and throwing normal life out of gear. The rains also lead to collapse of a wall near the Majestic that resulted in damaging several four-wheelers parked on the road.(PTI)

According to IMD, light rainfall is likely to hit Bengaluru during the next five days. The Maximum temperature ranges from 27-29 degrees Celcius and the minimum of 15-17 degrees Celcius.(PTI)

Tribals and farmers affected by the Ken-Betwa river-linking project stage a symbolic Chita Andolan (pyre protests), Jal Satyagraha and hanging satyagraha by placing nooses around their necks, over their demands of better compensation and rehabilitation, in Chhatarpur district, Madhya Pradesh. The 15-day protest ended after police removed them from site.

New Delhi woke up to light rain, drizzle and breezy conditions on Friday morning, with the weather department issuing a yellow alert for the day. The alert signalled the possibility of moderate weather disruptions and urged residents to stay cautious.
