Incessant overnight rains pounded Mumbai and nearby areas on Sunday with the city witnessing severe waterlogging, disruption of local train services and vehicular traffic.
Around 15 people were killed and several injured after they were trapped under houses that collapsed due to landslides. BMC's disaster management cell said that 12 people were brought dead to the Rajawadi Hospital and two were discharged after being treated for their injuries.
