Congress MP Rahul Gandhi, who is leading the over 3,500-km-long 'Bharat Jodo Yatra,' visited memorials of former PMs and president Mahatma Gandhi to pay homage as he is in the national capital on a nine-day break.

Tribals and farmers affected by the Ken-Betwa river-linking project stage a symbolic Chita Andolan (pyre protests), Jal Satyagraha and hanging satyagraha by placing nooses around their necks, over their demands of better compensation and rehabilitation, in Chhatarpur district, Madhya Pradesh.
