It was the first time that CSK lost to SRH at home and it has put them on the brink of elimination.

Mumbai Indians were at their ruthless best against a happless Sunrisers Hyderabad as they pulled off a fourth consecutive victory with a seven-wicket win at the latter's home. Trent Boult led an incredible bowling effort with a four-wicket haul, which restricted SRH to a score of 143/8 after which Rohit Sharma and Suryakumar Yadav's knocks helped MI finish the job.
