Virat Kohli was at his efficient and ruthless best as India beat Australia by four wickets to go through to the final of the Champions Trophy for a fifth time. Kohli scored 84 runs in just 98 balls in an innings in which he took as many as 56 runs in singles.(AFP)

India were put to bowl first by Steve Smith after losing the toss for the 14th consecutive time in ODIs. Travis Head got off to a freewheeling start, as India had feared, but the irresistible Varun Chakravarthy sent him back in the ninth over, when the Australian had scored 39 in 33 balls. (PTI)

Smith fell against the run of play to a full toss from Shami. Australia were looking set to score over 280 at that point but India came back strong in the last 10 overs. Shami was their highest wicket-taker, finishing with figures of 3/48 as Australia were all out for 264 in 49.3 overs(ANI)
