In an affidavit filed in the high court, assistant commissioner of police, Ludhiana West, Rupinder Kaur Sra said told the bench of justice Jaishree Thakur that it had established role of 14 persons in the attack and all of them had been arrested with challan filed against them in a Ludhiana trial court. However, with regard to allegations against Dhumma and his associates, the investigations are still on, the affidavit read. As and when some material or evidence would come requisite legal action would be taken and supplementary challan will be filed, Sra said in the affidavit. The matter would now be taken up on October 24.

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has already said that it would be better if Punjab agencies probed the May 17 attack on Sikh preacher Dhadrianwale.
