On the much-awaited assembly polls due in October this year, Sharma said he would contest from the Mahendergarh assembly constituency and a decision on all other seats would be taken in a meeting scheduled at the party’s state headquarters in Rohtak after the declaration of the LS results.

On seat sharing with its ally the Haryana Janhit Congress (HJC), he said rumours had been making rounds about the possible break off, however, there wasn’t even an iota of truth in it, and both the parties would go to the assembly polls together.

On seat sharing, he said he could not comment as of now whether both the parties would contest 45:45 seats, while adding a mutual decision would be taken after the results.

Sharma, meanwhile, also predicted the victory of BJP prime minister candidate Narendra Modi from Varanasi by a margin of 3-4 lakh, while adding that all his rivals would lose their security deposit.
