The court of chief judicial magistrate here on Thursday extended the judicial remand of the 11 accused in the bus damage case for two weeks till July 16.

They were all arrested by the police on May 6. Though booked for bailable offence, they are demanding unconditional release.

Meanwhile, activists of the Punjab Students Union protested against bus operators and demanded the unconditional release of those in jail.
They threatened to start an indefinite dharna in front of the office of the deputy commissioner from July 15 on the issue.
