On the directions of state chief secretary Sarvesh Kaushal, an officer of the department of governance reforms, Dharam Singh, visited Suwidha centre for inspection at around 8:30am on Tuesday, accompanied by other officials.
Singh visited the office to inspect the overall functioning of the centre like timely delivery of services, citizen facilitation and services being charged, upkeep of centre and other operational and monitoring systems.
The team, which was at the centre for more than five hours, checked documents and also talked to the people visiting the centre.
Rajbir Singh, system manager at the Suwidha centre said officials of governance reforms came for inspection at 8:30am and checked all official documents and records. He said the officials seemed satisfied with the functioning of the centre.
