Haryana singer wins Voice of Punjab 4

Deepesh Rahi, 24, from Fatehabad in Haryana has won the fourth edition of singing contest 'Royal Stag Voice of Punjab', hosted by PTC Network here, by beating his six co-finalists. The first runner-up was Harmanpreet Kaur, 20, from Amritsar, while Gurbinder Singh, 17, from Ludhiana was the second runner-up.

The first runner-up was Harmanpreet Kaur, 20, from Amritsar, while Gurbinder Singh, 17, from Ludhiana was the second runner-up.

With the title, Deepesh has also won an opportunity to work as a playback singer with PTC Motion Picture's upcoming production, a trip to Dubai, a car and `1 lakh. Harmanpreet was awarded `75,000, while Gurbinder won `50,000.

The other finalists included Sunil Mittal from Jalandhar, Hardeep Singh from Ludhiana, and Hargun Kaur from Amritsar.

Talking to HT, Deepesh said his dream had come true. "I am really grateful for the opportunity to prove myself. The judges and the mentor of the contest, Tejwant Kittu, have really polished me a lot."

PTC president and director Rabindra Narayan said, "It gives me immense pleasure to promote talent among youths and change their lives. Such platforms help to give new talent to the industry."

Mentor Tejwant Kittu said, "The finalists are already big stars, and reaching this level is not an easy job, so I declare all of them winners."
