The Himachal Pradesh budget session, which would have 22 sittings, would commence from March 11, said officiating governor Kalyan Singh on Friday. The government had sent a resolution, which has been signed by all the ministers in chief minister Virbhadra Singh's cabinet, to the governor.

It's likely that the chief minister, who holds the finance portfolio, will present the annual budget for the fiscal 2014- 2015 on March 16. Meanwhile, the government had also invited suggestions from the public, industrialist and employees, but the response was, however, lukewarm.
