Hola Mohalla festival concludes at Anandpur Sahib

The annual Hola Mohalla celebrations concluded at Anandpur Sahib on Thursday with religious processions (Mohalla) by Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) and Nihangs on Thursday.

Lakhs of devotees visited Anandpur Sahib and Kiratpur Sahib during the six-day Hola Mohalla festival to pay their obiesance at various gurdwaras including Takht Sri Kesgarh Sahib.

The SGPC procession, led by Panj Piaras (five beloved) started from Takht Sri Kesgarh Sahib after the bhog of Sri Akhand path and passed through main streets of the town before culminating back at Takht in the evening.

Akal Takht Jathedar Giani Gurbachan Singh, Takht Sri Kesgarh Sahib Jathedar Giani Mal Singh,Takht Sri Harmandir Ji Patna Sahib Jathedar Giani Iqbal Singh,Harmandar Sahib head granthi Giani Jagtar Singh,Takht Sri Kesgarh Sahib head granthi Giani Sukhwinder Singh also participated in the procession.

Meanwhile, Rupnagar Deputy Commissioner Karnesh Sharma thanked the devotees for their cooperation in the smooth and peaceful conclusion of Hola Mohalla.
