In a decision taken at Danoda village near Narwana of Jind district on February 23, the All-India Jat Aarakshan Action Committee, along with Jind, Hisar and Bhiwani khaps, had vowed their support in launching the blockade for pressing the reservation issue.

Sube Singh Samain, spokesperson of sarv Jat sarv khap panchayat said, "The government had done nothing to implement reservation in central jobs. We will enforce rail blockade at two places on Saturday."

Tek Ram Kandela, pardhan of Kandela khap, said that Jind khaps would leave for Narwana railway station early morning on Saturday and block the railway track. Similarly, the blockade would be created at Mayyar village of Hisar district, said another khap leader.

Chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda has already expressed his consent in favour of reservation to the community.
