The students of a paramedical institute have complained to the police against the institute directors for allegedly duping them by not submitting their fee to the board they are affiliated with in order to conduct examinations. The police have registered a case in connection with this case.
The accused directors of Delhi Para Medical and Management institute situated in Model Town have been identified as Iqbal Singh, Jameel and Ankita Sharma, who are on the run.
As many as 30 students had complained to the police commissioner, following which the top cop directed assistant commissioner of police (ACP, Atam Park) Ramandeep Singh to investigate the case. After investigation, the ACP asked Model Town police station to register a case.
A student, Ravinderpal Singh of Shimlapuri, said as many as 100 students had got admission in the paramedical courses in the aforesaid institute and paid Rs 60,000 as fee. He said the session had concluded by the accused didn't get their exams conducted. “When we asked them to conduct exams, they started threatening us,” he said.
Model Town station house officer (SHO), Inspector Inderjit Singh said, the police during investigation found that the accused collected the fees from the students but didn't submit it with the board they are affiliated with. The SHO said manhunt has been launched for the arrest of the accused.

{{/usCountry}}The police have registered a case under Sections 420 (cheating), 506 (criminal intimidation) and 120-B (criminal conspiracy) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
Iqbal Singh, one of the directors of the institute, was also booked 15 days ago in connection with attempt to murder case by Doraha police for allegedly throwing his wife into canal. He is absconding since then.
