Naval officers’ mother strangulated to death

Surjeet Kaur (80) of Kadyyal village in Adampur was strangulated to death on the intervening night of Tuesday and Wednesday. The murderers also stole a television set and gold ornaments in the strike when she was alone at home. Of her four sons, three are officers in the navy.

The family claimed the body after autopsy at the civil hospital here. The murder case was lodged at Adampur.
