The high court division bench of justice Surya Kant and justice Sudip Ahluwalia reserved the order after over hour-long hearing on Friday. The petitioners had argued against the declaration of merit on the basis of percentile system and also stated that around 110 questions were wrong. Hence, it was argued that the single-judge order, which upheld the percentile system, be set aside.

On September 9, a single-judge bench had upheld the decision of the BFUHS to prepare a merit list for the PMET on the basis of the percentile system and had ordered recasting of the merit list within three days. The HC single-judge bench had also found that two more questions were wrong in the exam, and four questions that were earlier declared invalid were actually correct. Total questions declared invalid now stands at 12.
