While talking to city residents, it was revealed more and more people are using the online platforms to remain stress free.

“It’s like the entire encyclopedia on a topic that you are interested. You can just go on and on. From short interviews to several blog posts and short videos — this is the power of social media. Besides, apart from keeping myself positive, I like to share good stuff on my timeline,” shared Mehak Jain, student of SCD Government College.

Rajiv Bakshi, retired banker and author, added, “Apart from motivational content, comic videos by noted comedians are also a big hit. These videos give you the best medicine of life –laughter, and are a great stress-buster. It can’t be ignored that laughter also helps in making mind positive.”

Meanwhile, Punjab Ag ricultural University’s (PAU) former head of human development de par tment, Jatinder Kaur Gulati, says the trend is encouraging, and “considering high stress level in the society, it is going to stay here for long”.

“Such content help in making our thought process positive. Most importantly, we all should learn something from such platforms,” suggested Gulati.
