Sex racket busted in Sunam; five held

The police on Sunday unearthed sex racket at Sunam, 15km from here, and arrested three women and two men from a dera. Investigation officer Satnam Singh said acting on a tip-off, the police party raided the Ganga Dera premises and found two couples in a compromising position.

Investigation officer Satnam Singh said acting on a tip-off, the police party raided the Ganga Dera premises and found two couples in a compromising position. Those arrested have been identified as Balwant Kaur, Manjeet Kaur, Anju, Mandeep Singh and Karnail Singh. A case under Sections 3, 4 and 5 of Immoral Trafficking Act has been registered against the accused.
