Looking at the situation, police had stepped up security near village at Kansala police station and one Gypsy has been patrolling the village to avoid any untoward incident.

Raj Singh, sarpanch of Asan village, told mediapersons that it was unfair on the part of police to take one-sided action. The police are not ready to lodge an FIR on the basis of complaints they have made, he added.

Singh said they have been running from pillar to post for last three days and have even met the Rohtak SP, but to no avail. The sarpanch also requested villagers not to resort to any unlawful activity to press their point and appealing them to exercise restraint and wait for government's action.
