The buyer is billionaire Leon Black, who’s worth $4.7 billion. Black owns a private equity firm, says a report published in TMZ.

The house has seven bedrooms, nine bathrooms, a tennis court, a swimming pool, a children’s playground and a couple of guest houses, the report said.

The house is currently in escrow. The actor originally listed the home for $50 million, reports said

Cruise and Holmes purchased the home for $30.5 million in 2007, one year after their daughter Suri was born. The pair divorced in 2012.

News reports said that the 53-year-old actor has been quietly offloading his properties lately. In October, he sold his gated Hollywood Hills home to actress Eva Longoria for $11.4 million, The Los Angeles Times reported.

The Edge of Tomorrow star also sold his relatively-modest two-bedroom apartment in New York’s East Village for $3 million in 2013.
