Akhil’s new Telugu film to be launched on Nagarjuna’s birthday

The second Telugu film of Akhil Akkeneni, son of actor Nagarjuna, will be launched on the latter’s birthday.

Telugu actor Akhil’s yet-untitled second film, which will be directed by Hanu Raghavapudi, will be launched on his father Akkineni Nagarjuna’s birthday on August 29.

“The project will be officially launched on August 29 to coincide with Nagarjuna’s birthday. More details regarding the project will be revealed on the same day. The regular shooting will start from later this year,” said a source close to the actor.

Akhil, too, confirmed the news on his Twitter page.

“Hi guys! Been working on a script with @hanurpudi. Almost done with pre production work. Very excited to finally start shoot soon,” he shared on his Twitter page.

Akhil made his cinematic debut last year with an eponymously titled Telugu film, which didn’t do well at the box-office.
