The first teaser of Allu Arjun’s DJ Duvvada Jagannadham was unveiled on Friday. The 47-second clip of the romantic comedy, which also stars model-turned-actor Pooja Hegde, has Arjun dominating the frames with his superlative comic timing. The film is directed by Harish Shankar.
The teaser opens with a dhoti-clad Arjun, deep in a puja ritual, complete with his rudraksh, vibhuti, aarti, et al. The next shot shows a happy guy riding a scooter laden with vegetables on a busy street. We are introduced to his lady love (Pooja Hegde) soon, but the romance is cut short when Arjun is shown threatening someone over the phone.
Arjun has had a superb run at the box office with his last two films, Sarrainodu (2016) and S/O Satyamurthy (2015), turning out to be huge hits.
