Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Nagarjuna’s new film Raju Gari Gadhi 2 is up for release (October 13) and it is still unclear as to what is Samantha’s part in the film.
A new picture of the actor in a black coat and white shirt has surfaced on social media with many commenting that perhaps she is also playing a lawyer in the film. She is seen inside what looks like a courtroom.
Directed by Omar, the film is a horror flick and a sequel of the 2015 film, also directed by Omar. The sequel which also stars Seerat Kapoor, takes place at an island resort where a group of vacationers feel the presence of a spirit in their hotel room. They then hire the services of a mentalist, played by Nagarjuna. Samantha plays a character named Amrutha in the film. Perhaps, she used to be a lawyer when she was alive.
The film will release with a U/A certification, it was revealed by the makers on Wednesday. Samantha, who has had a superb run at the box office in the last couple of years, got married to long-time beau Naga Chaitanya on October 7 in Goa. They are expected to leave for Bahamas for their honeymoon.
