Kadhalum Kadhandu Pogum BO: Vijay’s film rakes in over Rs 8 crore

It’s a hat-trick for Vijay Sethupathi. After Naanum Rowdy Dhaan and Sethupathi, Kadhalum Kadhandu Pogum is well on its way to become his next hit. The film has already picked up over Rs 8 crore in its opening weekend.

Tamil romantic comedy Kadhalum Kadhandu Pogum has struck gold on the box office, picking up Rs 8.1 crore in its opening weekend in Tamil Nadu. “This is the best-ever opening for a Vijay Sethupathi film. In first three days, the film has collected a whopping Rs 8.1 crore at the ticket window in Tamil Nadu. Despite the onslaught of new releases, the film managed to hold well,” said trade analyst Trinath.

With his last two releases Naanum Rowdy Dhaan and Sethupathi turning out to be successful ventures, Kadhalum Kadhandu Pogum becomes a hat-trick of sorts for Vijay. (Nikkilcinema)
