Ravi Teja hasn’t had a hit in a while. Known for his commercial entertainers such as Kick and Dubai Seenu, the actor is going through a rough patch. The teaser of his new film Raja The Great was released on Independence Day and going by the visuals, it looks like he has a winner up his sleeve. In the film, he plays a blind character and we get the glimpse of his character arc in the teaser. The teaser clearly indicates that being blind may be considered a disability, but not for Ravi Teja who even fights bad guys. He even mouths the line, ‘I’m blind but I’m trained’.

Ravi Teja returns as a visually-impaired man who trains himself to fight in Raja The Great.

Directed by Ani Ravipudi, the film also stars Prakash Raj, Radikaa Sarath Kumar and Mehreen Pirzada. The film is riding on very high expectations and Ravi Teja chose the script after months of contemplation. He was supposed to work on the Telugu remake of Tamil film Kanithan, but he chose to walk out as its producer was not ready to pay him how much he demanded. The project is now being made with actor Nikhil.
