Has the latest Rajinikanth-starrer been beaten to the theatres by the online pirates? According to reports, there are several links being provided to view the film in the Dark Web (overlay networks that use the public internet but require specific software, configurations or authorisation to access), that is set for a July 22 release.

Says a source linked to the production, “We’ve contacted the authorities to pull down all these unauthorised links to the film.” While trying to keep the matter as hushed as possible to prevent more leakage, the film’s makers are making a plea to Rajinikanth’s fans to not watch the film. Even Salman’s film Sultan was leaked online. Recently, censor board copies of Udta Punjab and Great Grand Masti were leaked online before their release.
