Actor Riteish Deshmukh, whose next Hindi film will be Houseful 3 alongwith Akshay Kumar and Abhishek Bachchan, has praised the new Marathi film Sairat which is creating waves. The Bollywood actor said he feels that Sairat deserves to be the highest-grossing Marathi film ever.

Directed by Nagraj Manjule, the romance follows the story of Parshya, a low-caste man and Archie, a rich daughter of an upper caste landlord, who fall in love despite pressures from society.
