SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali goes to China in May

Leaving Aamir Khan-starrer PK’s record behind, SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali will hit 6,000 screens in China, making it the biggest Indian release in that country.

One of 2015’s biggest Indian blockbusters, SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali, is set to release in China in May. It will release in over 6,000 screens via E Star Films, the biggest for an Indian film after Aamir Khan’s PK.

“This will be the biggest ever release for an Indian film in China, superseding PK, which released in 5,000 screens. The makers had planned to release the film this month, however, it had to be postponed due to unavailability of suitable dates,” said a source from the production team.
