MUMBAI: Bombay Republicans held Central Secretariat in a fast-paced and absorbing 3-3 draw in the Mumbai Hockey Association’s Super Division league at the Mahindra Stadium, Churchgate, on Saturday.
While Central Secretariat got all their three goals through Thimanna PL off penalty corners in the 14th, 39th and 66th minute, the Republicans got their goals through Vikram Yadav, off a penalty stroke conversion in the 20th minute, Kartik Sharma, off a penalty corner conversion in the 53rd minute, and Ganendrajit Ningombam, off a regulation field effort in the 60th minute.
BOMBAY MUSLIMS DRAW 2-2 WITH SPRINGFIELD
Bombay Muslims hit back from 0-2 to hold Springfield SC to a 2-2 draw in the Mumbai District Football Association’s Super Division league at the Mumbai Football Arena, at Andheri.
Springfield struck through Sujan and Jabin in the first half before they were cancelled out by Afshaan Shaikh and Sachet Bhatt.
