The Indo-Pakistani pair recovered well from the first set but lost the quarterfinal in the Super Tie-breaker 5-7 6-3 9-11.

This was Bopanna and Qureshi's first match of the $ 125,000 clay court event as the duo had got a walkover in the first round.
