The Davis Cup semi-final between France and Argentina will take place on a fast indoor surface in Lyon's Gerland Sports Palace from September 17-19, the French tennis federation confirmed on Wednesday.

It will be the fifth time that the south-eastern French city has hosted a Davis Cup tie and first since 1991 when the hosts beat the United States 3-1 to lift the title for the seventh time.
France have won the title twice since then, most recently in 2001.
Argentina, runners-up in 1981, 2006 and 2008, have never won the trophy.
