India's Leander Paes and Czech Lukas Dlouhy lost to Swede Simon Aspelin and Australian Paul Hanley 2-6, 3-6, in the final of the $2 million Dubai Tennis Championships.

Paes, who will leave for Moscow to play in the first round of the Davis Cup World Group tie against Russia from March 5-7, gained 300 points and a share of the runners-up $53,320.

Paes and Dlouhy, who lost the match in less than an hour, were outplayed by the Swedish-Australian pair.
