Second-seeded Serbian Jelena Jankovic crashed out of the Indian Wells hardcourt tournament on Saturday, falling in straight sets to Russian teenager Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova.

Pavlyuchenkova, currently ranked at a career-high of 42 in the world, beat former world number one Jankovic, now ranked third in the world, 6-4, 6-4.
