Technology giant Microsoft announced that its Phone Link for iOS on Windows 11 is now rolling out to the global audience in 39 languages across 85 markets. The company had recently announced the expansion of Windows 11's Phone Link to ensure connection between a Windows 11 PC and an iOS mobile device. According to a post on Windows Experience blog, the company said it has taken a ‘conservative’ approach to launching an update. Microsoft had sought feedback, which it said was positive. The company will begin a gradual rollout to all its Windows 11 audience with the users enabled by mid-May.

The Phone Link app removes the hurdles between a Windows 11 PC and the mobile device. At present, the app is available for the Android users for some time.

The company said with the app allowing a PC and iOS device connection, it hopes that the Windows 11 customers need not worry about missing an important call or text while using their computers. After it is enabled by the customer, the Phone Link for iOS will be providing support for calls, messages as well as access to the contacts.

To enable the feature, type ‘Phone Link’ in the search box on the Windows taskbar. For Android users, they need to select ‘Android’ from the options.
