State sees surge in computer engineering admission; traditional courses see high vacancies this year

Admissions for undergraduate courses in Maharashtra have seen a surge in demand for computer engineering and new-age courses like AI and data science, while traditional streams like civil and mechanical engineering have seen more than 50% vacancies.
