Centre likely to hike dearness allowance for govt employees by 4 per cent

DA hike: Presently over one crore central government employees and pensioners are getting 38 per cent dearness allowance.

The dearness allowance for employees and pensioners are worked out on the basis of the latest Consumer Price Index for Industrial Workers.
