Swiss to permit simple legal gender transition from Jan. 1

Switzerland citizens will be able to legally change their gender from 2022, placing the country at forefront of Europe's gender self-identification initiative. 
Under the new rules written into Switzerland's civil code, anyone aged 16 and above who is not under legal guardianship will be able to adjust their gender and legal name by self-declaration at the civil registry office.(AP)

Christie's sells teenager's crypto art about gender transition for $2.16 million

Crypto artwork by 18-year-old transgender artist Victor Langlois, on gender transition, fetches $2.16 million at Christie's online auction. It represents Langlois' life as he discovered his gender identity and transitioned from female to male between the ages of 14 and 18.

Only half of young people attracted to opposite sex, says survey

The surveys show changing ideas of sexuality and increasing acceptability towards different sexual preferences in both the countries.
According to the survey, 76 per cent of people aged between 41 to 54 were solely attracted to the opposite sex and 81 per cent of 55 to 75 year old gave the same answer.(Unsplash)
