Karnataka Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy said that he has sufficient numbers and does not need support from Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Kumaraswamy was earlier accused by the BJP of horse-trading and had moved 104 BJP MLAs to Gurugram resort fearing poaching by Congress-JD(S). Earlier, two MLAs had also withdrawn support from the ruling Congress-JD(S) in Karnataka. The MLAs had withdrawn their support after the BJP accused Kumaraswamy government in Karnataka of poaching.
