22-year-old tourist from Jammu and Kashmir’s Udhampur found dead in Uttarakhand

According to the police, the deceased identified as Udyot Sharma, was missing since Saturday evening. His body was found during a search operation by a team of State Disaster Response Force (SDRF).

No high-speed internet for J-K; only Ganderbal, Udhampur districts to continue getting 4G till Sept-end

In an order issued on Tuesday, Principal Secretary in the Home Department Shaleen Kabra said that after a fresh review of the situation, it has been decided that internet speed will remain restricted to 2G in the rest of the 18 districts.

CBI searches 11 locations in Jammu and Kashmir in encroachment case

The raids came after the CBI registered an FIR on the allegations of large scale illegal construction/encroachment of land in the tourist hotspot of Patnitop in Udhampur district.
