A ground staff member at an airport fell from an Airbus A320 aircraft after two other workers removed the stepladder just as he was stepping out of Indonesia's Transnusa plane. The moment was captured on camera, shocking people who saw the video.
The incident took place at the Jakarta airport in Indonesia and the worker's injuries are not life-threatening, according to Aviation24.be
The video caught the attention of social media users in India after aviation consultant Sanjay Lazar shared it on X (formerly Twitter) who termed it a “crazy lapse” in procedures.

TransNusa is a low-cost carrier headquartered in Jakarta and has flights domestically as well as to China, Malaysia and Singapore.
“How did they remove the stepladder without (aircraft) door close? Isn't that basic SOP. This is the worst nightmare for any ground staff/crew,” X user Sandeep Rao wrote in the comments section.
"Ladder removed without notice? Hope he’s safe. Prayers," another user wrote.
In April last year, a 33-year-old Air Asia worker died after falling from a ladder at the Pune airport. Vivian Anthony Dominic worked as a security officer with the airline and died after he fell from the ladder at the airport.
In 2015, an Air India service engineer died after he got sucked into the live engine of an A-319 plane at the Mumbai airport.
