After accidentally leaving a bag containing money on a bus, the passenger assumed her money was gone forever. Unbeknownst to her, an exceptionally honest bus conductor handed the bag to the authorities and repeatedly attempted to identify its rightful owner for over two years. Their paths miraculously crossed again on the same bus route, resulting in a reunion in which the deeply grateful commuter rewarded the staff member's relentless honesty.

Kasabai Gaikwad left ₹24,000 while travelling by bus in 2024, reported News 18. She was on a bus between Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar and Washim when she left her bag. In addition to the money, she also had important medical documents.

For two years, Gaikwad thought that she had lost her money and documents. Unknown to her, there was someone who was trying to find her every day to return it to her. It was a conductor named Raju Vani.

Two years later, he coincidentally met the elderly woman, the outlet reported. Gaikwad travelled on the same bus where Vani was working, giving him a chance to return the money and the bag.

Surprised and happy to get back what she lost two years ago, Gaikwad expressed her gratitude. She praised Vani’s honesty and integrity, rewarding him with ₹1,100.
