this two-headed baby turtle which was spotted in the Edisto Beach State Park, USA. A post about the rare creature has now intrigued people. There is a possibility that it will amaze you too.
South Carolina State Parks took to Facebook to share the story of the turtle along with two images. They wrote that the creature was spotted during a routine inventory of sea turtle nest. “Three to five days after a sea turtle nest shows signs of a major emergence, we dig down to determine the success of the nest by counting the hatched eggs, unhatched eggs and on occasions also find live hatchlings,” they explained.
In the few following lines, the park shared that the “two-headed hatchling is the result of a genetic mutation”. They added that the creature was eventually released into the ocean.
