Television actor Erica Fernandes isn’t in a hurry to return to films. The Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi actor, who had done a few films in the South and one Bollywood flick, says that she continues to get film offers, but she refuses them.
“After doing modelling and films, I was always keen on doing TV. It was in my to-do-list. So when Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi happened, I was more than happy. And I am thankful that my debut show is doing so well. For the time being I have therefore decided to concentrate on TV and make the most of the medium,” says Erica, who plays the lead opposite Shaheer Sheikh in the show.
Talking about films, Erica adds, “I get a lot of film offers from South but right now I don’t have the mindset to take them up. It’s better to do one thing at a time and give your full concentration. Also, after the show gets over I am planning to take a break from work and spend some alone time,” she adds. Asked f she is open to doing reality shows on the tube, Erica says, “I can’t imagine locking myself up in a house for so long... away from friends and family. But a dance show would be good for me.”
