Julia Louis-Dreyfus has revealed she underwent a surgery after she was diagnosed with breast cancer and said she is “ready to rock” after the procedure.
The Veep actor, who announced her battle with breast cancer last September, posted her first picture after the operation.
“Hoorah! Great doctors, great results, feeling happy and ready to rock after surgery. Hey cancer, ‘F**k you!’ Here’s my first post-op photo,” she wrote.
The 57-year-old actor, however, did not disclose when she underwent the surgery.
Louis-Dreyfus received her cancer diagnosis a day after her Emmy win for the Best Actress for her role as Selina Meyer in the HBO show.
The actor became the first person to score nine SAG Awards win creating history, as she bagged the trophy for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Comedy Series, but skipped the ceremony due to her medical condition.
