After Brahmos deal, now Mauritius buys HAL's Light Combat Helicopters

- Just days after India secured a defence contract with Phillilpines, India has bagged another one with the Mauritius government. HAL has signed a contract for export of one Advanced Light Helicopter-MkIII for Mauritius Police Force. HAL has said that with this contract, it has further strengthened the long-standing business relations spanning over three decades with Mauritius. This is the second time HAL will be exporting a helicopter to Mauritius after an ALH and Dornier Do-228 aircraft. Earlier, for the first time, Indian Defence manufacturing setup got a major export order from the Philippines with an offer to supply the BrahMos supersonic cruise missile.
