Andrew Tate speaks after losing to Chase Demoor; ‘I’m not disappointed in myself…’

Published on Dec 22, 2025 07:15 am IST

Andrew Tate framed his loss to Misfits heavyweight champion Chase DeMoor as proof that at 40, after a decade out of the ring and time in a “Romanian dungeon,” he could still compete at the highest level against a younger, heavier and more active opponent. Saying he felt he won the early rounds before DeMoor’s 20‑kilo weight advantage wore him down, Tate stressed he had “no excuses,” praised his own preparation, and repeatedly emphasised his ethos of “never give up, never retreat, never surrender,” arguing that the only true failure would have been being too afraid to fight at all. He called DeMoor a “true champion” who showed “tremendous heart and tremendous grit,” said he was proud Misfits had a legitimate titleholder, and insisted he would fight DeMoor again “tomorrow” with “100% belief” in himself, because he is “not afraid to lose, only afraid to not try.”
