Badrinath donation 'theft' case: Temple committee's suspended official arrested from Dehradun

Pramod Nautiyal, the key accused in the alleged donation handling irregularities at Uttarakhand's Badrinath Temple, has been arrested by Chamoli Police from his residence in Dehradun. A former personal assistant to the chairman of the Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee (BKTC), Nautiyal was suspended following a preliminary inquiry into alleged donation management irregularities. A four-member BKTC committee found the allegations to be prima facie true. He has been taken to Badrinath for questioning. Meanwhile, the Uttarakhand High Court is scheduled to hear his petition challenging his suspension and the FIR on July 17. Watch the full report.
