Priyanka Chopra won the “Favorite Actress in a New TV series.” She is the first South Asian actress to win a People's Choice Award but definitely not a new star in Bollywood. Switching from feature films to television has been rough but making new friends in Hollywood has been easy.

“It's the weirdest thing but you know what's crazy is that people come up to me and they know that I probably feel weird being here because I don't know anyone and they come and introduce themselves and they make me meet other people so it's so nice. Everyone has been so wonderful to me,” she said.
